My approach is experiential and grounded in somatic and polyvagal-informed practices that support clients in attuning to their nervous system, needs, and personal values. I draw from Family Systems, intergenerational trauma exploration, AEDP, attachment-based therapy, and trauma-informed care to guide the work. I also integrate nature-based and creative expression practices, creating a holistic and personalized path toward healing, connection, and self-discovery.

What is a Transpersonal Counsellor?

A transpersonal counsellor takes a holistic approach to therapy that goes beyond thoughts, emotions, and behaviours to include the deeper aspects of human experience—such as meaning, purpose, connection, and spirituality (in a way that is personal to you).

This approach recognizes that healing can involve not only the mind and body, but also your sense of self, relationships, culture, and connection to something greater—whether that’s nature, community, or personal values. Transpersonal counselling often integrates mindfulness, somatic awareness, and experiential practices to support growth, self-discovery, and a deeper sense of alignment.

Will my extended health benefits cover therapy?

Some extended health plans provide full or partial coverage for counselling services provided by a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor (RTC). Please check with your provider. I do not offer direct billing to insurance companies. Payment will be made after each session and you will need to submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement.
